Neve is my choice as a theme for several reasons. The most important one is that I found it very lightweight with a minimalist design so I would be able to easily extend and customize it. The second reason is related to SiteOrigin plugin which I picked as my page builder. I found out that Neve works perfectly with both the Gutenberg and Siteorigin page builder. In addition, It is responsive and has a rating of 5 with more than 20000 installations and frequent updates. (Last updated on 15 April 2019).
I tried the “Flash” Theme before picking Neve. For me changing the styles using a child theme in Flash was more time consuming than Neve.
Would I use it again? I am not sure. I would like to try other themes and compare them to know which one works better for me.
